수출입화물의 운송절차를 확인하고 해당 절차상의 서류를 어떻게 발급받고 어떻게 화물을 인수하는지 알아보자

#1  수출입화물의 운송절차

화물을 수출하는 경우를 간략하게 살펴보면, 선박스케줄 확인 (Booking) -> 선적예약 (S/R) -> 선적지시서 수령 (S/O) -> 본선수취증 수령 (M/R) -> 선화증권 교부 (B/L) 의 순서로 운송절찰르 위한 서류가 진행된다.

When briefly examining the process of exporting cargo, the transportation documentation follows the sequence of Ship Schedule Confirmation (Booking) -> Shipping Reservation (S/R) -> Receipt of Shipping Order (S/O) -> Receipt of Main Receipt (M/R) -> Issuance of Bill of Lading (B/L).

 

가. 선박스케줄 확인(Booking)

 수출자는 무역 계약 체결 후 완제품 조달이 완료되면 납기일 내 현지에서 도착할 수 있는 선박을 수배한다. 선박 수배방법은 선적스케줄이 게재되는 선사의 인터넷 홈페이지 방문, 직접 방문 또는 전화 상담을 통해 할 수 있다.

After completing the trade contract, the exporter arranges for a vessel that can arrive locally within the specified deadline once the procurement of the finished product is completed. The method of arranging the vessel can be done by visiting the shipping company's internet homepage where the shipping schedule is published, by direct visitation, or through telephone consultation.

나. 선적예약 (S/R : Shipping Request)

선적 예약시 Invoice 나 Packing List 만을 선산에 보내어 예약하는 경우도 있지만 선사 소정양식인 선적의뢰서 (S/R) 에 해당 사항을 기입하여 송부해야 한다.

When making a shipping reservation, it is common to send only the invoice or packing list to the shipping company for reservation. However, in many cases, it is necessary to submit the information through the shipping company's standard form, known as the Shipping Reservation (S/R), where relevant details are filled in and forwarded.

 

다. 선적지시서 수령 (S/O : Shipping Order)

선사는 S/R 을 받은 후 선박예약을 마치고 해당 정보를 수출자에게 선적지시서 (Shipping Order) 를 보내어 어느 시점까지 CY (컨테이너 야드)에 화물을 보낼 것을 통보한다.

After receiving the Shipping Reservation (S/R), the shipping company completes the vessel reservation and informs the exporter of the details by sending a Shipping Order. This Shipping Order specifies the deadline by which the cargo should be sent to the Container Yard (CY).

라. 본선수취증 및 선화증권 수령

화물이 본선에 반입되면 일등항해사가 선적지시서와 대조하면서 화물을 수취한 다음 수취한 증거로 본선수취증을 화주에게 발급해주고, 화주는 이를 선사에 주면 선화증권을 교부받게 된다. 여기서 컨테이너 전용선에 의해 운송되는 화물은 M/R(Mate's Receipt) 대신에 D/R(Dock's Receipt) 부두수취증을 발행하게 된다.

When the cargo is loaded onto the main vessel, the chief mate compares it with the Shipping Order, receives the cargo, and issues a Main Receipt (M/R) as proof of receipt to the shipper. The shipper, upon presenting the Main Receipt to the shipping company, receives the Bill of Lading. It's important to note that for cargo transported by a container dedicated vessel, a Dock Receipt (D/R) is issued instead of a Mate's Receipt (M/R) as evidence of receipt at the dock.
